Martanique Vernita Collins, 23, of Detroit, Michigan, Brandon Cortez Ewing, 26, also of Detroit, and 20 year old Demetrius Christian Deon Sims, of Mansfield, Texas were arrested by Indiana State Police Trooper Randall Miller for possession of Marijuana and remanded to the custody of the Jackson County jail.

Trooper Miller told jail staff that he had reason to believe Collins may have stashed something into her pants before coming to the jail. During the booking process Jackson County Jail Officers Kelly Lawson and Cassie Norman were able to retrieve a large amount of drugs that Collins had hidden inside her body.

It is believed the trio was en-route from Detroit, MI to Louisville, KY where they had plans to sell the drugs.

All three individuals face possible charges of Level II Felonies in Jackson Circuit Court.
