12/22/2019 New Release-Burglary & Theft Arrests
NEWS RELEASE - Jackson County Sheriff's Department On 12/22/2019 Deputies Jesse Hutchinson and J.L. McElfresh were dispatched to County Road 500 W and US Hwy 50, in reference to a citizen calling in that they had witnessed 2 men kick in a door to a residence. Upon the Deputies arrival they located 2 males in the residence who were then taken into custody. During the course of the investigation the Deputies were able to determine that the males had taken items from the abandoned home. Arrested were: Gregory Davis Age 38 Seymour Burglary Level 4 Felony Theft A Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief A Misdemeanor Ricky Joe Stewart Age 39 Seymour Burglary Level 4 Felony Theft A Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief A Misdemeanor Deputies Hutchinson and McElfresh were assisted by Officer Adam Behmlander with the Brownstown Police Department.
