Two Vehicle Crash Investigated

On December 22, 2017 at 4:50am Jackson County Deputy Mitch Ray investigated a traffic accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of County Road 560 North and US Highway 31. The vehicles involved were a Semi and small passenger car. The driver of the passenger car was identified as Daniel Piatt of Freetown.

Piatt was transported to Schneck Medical Center for injuries.

The driver of the semi, Daniel McMillan of Prospect, Kentucky was unharmed. The case is pending toxicology results and still under investigation. Seymour Police Department assisted with the investigation and traffic control.
